One of Johan’s strengths is recipe development: coming up with new recipes for products to be produced on an industrial scale. Johan has a love for making sausages and meat products. He knows the secrets of the butcher and his enormous expertise is his distinguishing feature. 

Johan develops and tests new recipes, from Frankfurter Sausage, Bockwurst, Green Tea sausage, milk sausage to different kind of salamis. For Asia Johan develops and test new recipes, from low temperature sausage to high temperature sausages. When creating the recipes, he considers the target group (or country) and the customer’s wishes, the latest ‘food trends’, originality and possibly a desired nutritional value. 

Johan is trained as a food technologist and has more than 30 years of experience in recipe development, especially in the meat processing industry. The technical ability in the field of process technology ensures an excellent link between concept and realisation of production on an industrial scale. Extensive working experience in the meat processing industry in Europe and contacts with customers in Asia and the Middle East.
